Valheim Player ESP Guide: Multiplayer Awareness

Unlike shooters, Valheim PvP is often about who sees who first across open meadows or while sailing. Player ESP shows other users through terrain, roofs and fog before you hear footfalls.

Some players search for a "wallhack" when they mean ESP-style visibility through hills and roofs — this module does that for other Vikings, not for every ore node or creature.

It does not replace sound — serpent splashes and deer cries still matter — but it closes the gap when someone camps your portal hub or ore route.

Use boxes or corner brackets with name and distance. Cap range at 150m for land; extend slightly for ocean if you run ship ESP separately — see /forums/valheim-ship-esp-guide.

Colour-code unknown players bright and party/clan names muted if your build supports friend lists. Hide dead players to reduce noise during boss arenas.
